Have you thought about using your professional and personal talents to inspire the next generation of young learners?

Are you interested in a career that is fulfilling, meaningful and full of variety?

The Master of Teaching (Primary) is a one-year masters programme designed for graduates of other degree disciplines to be able to become a qualified teacher. Our next intake for the MTchg(Primary) programme starts in July 2018.

Attend this information session and find out how you can take your career in a new direction

At this event you will:

  • Hear about what primary teaching is all about and what it’s like being a teacher.
  • Learn about the Master of Teaching Primary programme and why there is a focus on effective teaching for priority group learners.
  • Find out about the learning hubs established in partnership with Auckland primary schools and how you will learn in schools, with teachers.
  • Talk with teaching staff and current students in the Master of Teaching Primary programme and ask all your burning questions.
  • Receive application advice and support from our Student Advisers.

Note: To be eligible for this programme, you must hold a bachelors degree or higher (in any discipline) with a GPA of 5.0.
