Event description
Komako-Aroha and Ngaronoa Renata provide a holistic restorative practice for people to connect deeper in mind, body and spirit.

About this event

Komako is an emerging Taonga puuoro practitioner who uses the medicine of ancient Maaori instruments (Taonga Puuoro) and Tambura (Indian string instrument) to offer a space of deep presence and interconnection between oneself and the natural laws of life. She offers sound through her breath, the breath of those present and the breath of her puuoro whanau to bring awareness and healing sound frequencies that are in direct communication with earth and sky.

Ngaronoa uses inspired Maaori movement to facilitate a gentle, restorative practice of connecting those present in the space to return back to their essence, their core through breath. The foundation of Ngaronoa's practice is led through listening to the haa (breath of life) in directing where to draw energy from and where to release energy to.

Spaces limited. Bookings essential.

Please bring a yoga mat.
