Join us for the closing event of Material Acts, where the event residents will reflect on their experience, the workshops and dialogues, and the three themes that underpinned them.
Students and practitioners invited to work in residence reflect on their time as part of Material Acts: two days of events dialoguing and workshopping with practitioners who are crafting new materials; speculating on other possible material realities in our shared spaces; and challenging the legislative, financial, and ritual conditions that determine those material realities.
The group will discuss conversations, observations, and outputs from workshops and dialogues held across the two days, in relation to three themes: Grounded Methods, Speculative Organising, and Craft Practices.
The event celebrates the partnership between Objectspace and Huri te Ao Te Wānanga Aronui o Tāmaki Makaurau, AUT School of Future Environments.
Hospitality will be provided.
Other Material Acts event sessions are listed on our website and free and open to all.
