Course Overview:
AI’s everywhere, and it’s changing the way we do things - super fast! While full of possibilities, it can also be overwhelming and a little scary.
This three-week introductory course supports people to explore Artificial Intelligence (AI) in a friendly, accessible way. Participants will build confidence, curiosity, and self-leadership as they learn how AI tools can enhance creativity, communication, and problem-solving in daily life.
Designed for adults new to AI, the course combines reflection, discussion, and simple hands-on activities to help learners stay grounded and empowered in a fast-changing world.
Learning Outcomes:
· Understanding of what AI is and how it is showing up in everyday life and work.
· Develop confidence and curiosity to explore AI with an open, reflective mindset.
· Gain practical experience using basic AI tools and how they might enhance creativity and communication.
· Recognise how to use AI responsibly and stay grounded in human values and connection.
Course Structure (3 × 1.5-hour sessions):
Week 1 – Exploring the Landscape (Tue 4 Nov)
Understanding AI while finding your footing.
Week 2 – Playing with Possibility (Tue 11 Nov)
Practical tools for everyday life and work.
Week 3 – Navigating Forward (Tue 18 Nov)
Bringing AI into life with confidence and care.
Delivery Details:
Duration: Every Tuesday, for 3 weeks (1.5 hours per session), starting Tue 4 Nov, 5.30pm
