Introducing the Mentor & Muffin Series!

Early morning inspiration and useful tips from successful entrepreneurs

Come and join us on the last Friday of every month for three months, starting April, for a motivational shot in the arm (and we’re not just talking the caffeine) with the new Mentor & Muffin Series.

Each Friday morning a successful business person shares their story and their biggest lesson. Followed by a Q&A session, where you get to interrogate them and ask about the things you really want to know.

Each session promises to leave you with something valuable you can apply to your own business right away.

Good coffee, a good muffin (gluten free options of course!), good company and a good story to learn from. What better way to start your day!

SESSION 1. Friday 28 April (7.30am – 8.30am)

Laura Humphreys. Laura built ad agency Red Rocks from scratch to billings of $15 million and sold to the Ogilvy Group in just 9 years. She then built a nationwide pet care business with 150 employees which sold to a competitor. Laura says business is a roller coaster and you have to buckle up for the ride. What was her biggest learning on her journey? Come find out.

SESSION 2. Friday 26 May (7.30am – 8.30am)

Mike Brunel. Mike’s former company NRS Media went from a local Wellington consultancy to a global business generating over $350 million a year for media companies worldwide and sold to a private equity company in 2015. What was the most important thing for him along the way? Come and find out (And hear the story behind the pick axe Mike likes to bring with him).

SESSION 3. Friday 23 June (7.30am – 8.30am)

Tami Louisson. Co-founder, current director, and former CEO of Shott Beverages, Tami has a great deal of experience running and growing a successful business. Production, exporting, staff management and provider relations are areas of knowledge in which she excels. After a successful company exit from Shott, Tami wants to give back to the business community and help others reach the global stage. What was the most important thing for her along the way? Come and find out!
