Cyclone in association with Microsoft is running a series of Minecraft workshops across New Zealand.

About this Event

In this free workshop, you will learn how to set up Minecraft, how to use Minecraft to integrate the new areas of the Digital Technology curriculum into your classroom programmes and experience a Design Thinking project in a classroom setting.

The Minecraft: Education Edition software is now fully funded under the Microsoft agreement with the Ministry of Education, so there is no cost for you to use Minecraft in your school.

Who is this workshop for?

  • Teachers in the process or wanting to implement the two new areas of the Technology curriculum: Computational Thinking and Designing and Developing Digital Outcomes.
  • Anyone who is wanting to grab the attention of their learners in a creative and engaging way.
  • Teachers wanting to integrate Computational Thinking and Design Thinking into their classroom programmes.
  • The workshop is suitable for beginners
  • Please bring your own laptop.

These workshops will be run by our experienced PLD Facilitator's.
