A 7-day residential retreat: :Uncovering the natural ease of your own Being

About this event

Take time to settle into the stillness of a silent retreat and feel into the natural ease and wisdom of your own inherent Heart. In this 7-day retreat, we follow a guided rhythm of breath work, qi gong, sitting and walking mindfulness practice, with a structured programme for the first 3 full days, followed by a more spacious time during which you can find your own rhythm of practice, reflection, writing and rest, between scheduled sessions .

The retreat will be mostly in silence for participants, but there will be plenty of guidance, tuition and input, and the opportunity to speak with me if you need to. The first evening and the last morning are not in silence, and there will be a one-hour circle each day to talk and share insights, questions and comments, if you feel to.

people say

‘If you need time out for yourself, in a loving and warm environment, I recommend one of Rachel’s retreats. Her wisdom and kindness are truly wonderful.’

- Kirsty Kynoch, 2020 Oct retreat

‘This is a retreat to return to your Source, to return to Papatuanuku. … Rachel is an incredible facilitator…. The energy, stability and movements of qi gong constantly reflected those of the beautiful forest and river surroundings of Te Moata retreat centre.’

- participant from 2020 Oct retreat

‘Rachel was so incredibly accessible and human in her teaching – there was no ego or pretense of knowing everything, and that made the experience so much more relatable.’

- Kelly Pretty, 2020 Oct retreat.
