In this webinar we will review the advantages and disadvantages of linear and non-linear amplification, before discussing the adaptive compression method employed by Oticon. In addition, we will revise the key aspects of compression including thresholds, ratios, attack and release times and the impact these have on sound output.
The webinar will conclude with a discussion of Oticon’s new feature MoreSound Amplifier and the key differences between this feature and Oticon’s previous amplification approach Speech Guard LX.
