Event description
Join us in person or via Zoom for a fascinating evening of talks from clinical trials participants and researchers.

About this event

This inspiring public lecture co-hosted by the Liggins Institute and the ON TRACK Network celebrates International Clinical Trials Day.

Whether you've taken part in a clinical trial or are considering it, this is your chance to hear the key questions researchers are trying to answer and why clinical trials research is critical to improving healthcare for mothers and babies.

You'll hear from NZ researchers including Professor Frank Bloomfield, Associate Professor Katie Groom, and Distinguished Professor Dame Jane Harding who are leading some of the biggest clinical trials in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Participants in the DIAMOND Trial, the Liggins Steroid Trial and more will also share their stories about why they signed up and what the experience has been like.

This not-to-be-missed event will explore the path to clinical trials in Aotearoa New Zealand, look at the impact the research is having on clinical practice, and ask what the future holds.
