Time to explore the tunnels of Napoleon Hill on the West Coast!
About this event
The West Coast Young Farmers Club invite you to join us for a 4WD trip. You'll drive through beautiful native bush and creeks with the main attraction being historic gold mining tunnels. We plan to have a fun & relaxed day, so bring the family and friends along (sorry no dogs).
Maximum of 20 trucks.
Schedule:
- 10 am - Meet at Orwell Creek Road and sign in with organisers
- 10:30am - Safely briefing
- 10:45am - Trip begins
- At the end of the trip we will re-gather at the bottom of the hill for a sausage sizzle lunch
We ask that you respect the land and stick to the track so we can all continue to access it. This is a 4WD track so you will need a capable vehicle; expect tree branches, gravel, steep clay, & creek crossings. Our club holds no responsibility for damages.
Thank you to Ahaura Lodge for sponsoring this event.
Cancellation: This event can only run if the river is not in flood (which happens in most rainfall events). A cancelation will be decided on Friday 6th May. If the event is cancelled you will receive a refund as per Eventbrite's policy.
This fundraising event is being run by West Coast Young Farmers Club, a club which re-started in November 2021. All proceeds will go towards club uniform and running future events like this.
