About this event
- 1 day 7 hours
Our Whiria Te Hauora - Protecting Every Breath Hui aims to safeguard the breath of our mokopuna and whānau, ensuring better protection for our pēpi during sleep and minimising tobacco exposure.
Over two days, we have brought together cultural and clinical experts in Sudden Unexpected Death in Infancy (SUDI) and tobacco control and advocacy for an informative, interactive wānanga.
During the hui, you will hear from a diverse range of people in this sector about current research, developments, innovation, and the importance of mātauranga Māori when working with whānau Māori. Our Pasifika aiga will also participate, with workshops coordinated by Tala Pasifika, focusing on a Pasifika approach to wellbeing as part of our two-day program.
We look forward to seeing you at Whira te Hauora
