I like to help people. Not in a I will do your lawns way but in a lets kinda change your life way.I retrained to be a Naturopath/Medical Herbalist because this combines everything I love; helping people, academia, health, creating plans, making herbal remedies for people and also making a small (healthier caramel slice) difference. We all get sick, some of us struggle with chronic illness, for others it just might be something more transient. The one thing we have in common is that without our health, we don't have a lot.I have seen natural health do amazing things for my family and I personally know what it can do - as I have been you. I had insane anxiety, panic attacks the whole 9 yards. I didn't leave the house for quite some time - I tried the conventional medical route - it didn't work so well for me. I tried another way. And here I am. I moved to Dunedin in 2015 from Auckland. I love it here. I get to live in a place with an amazing view and help bring up my 2 year old with my husband in Mihiwaka. Since having a child I have become really passionate about children, mums and supporting new families. I started Fred Fred Organics because I want to help families with giving their small humans the best start and also give parents a little more time back.

Niki East

My inspiration to teach yoga grew after the birth of my first child, 18 years ago while attending mum and baby classes at Sitaram Partnership with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli in the UK. Her gentle therapeutic approach taught me the wholeness of yoga and the power of the breath. I went on to complete an apprenticeship in post natal and baby yoga, with Uma, Sitaram Partnership; The Birthlight Trust. My general training followed through the Life Centre London, including additional trainings in Pregnancy Yoga, Well Woman Yoga, Family Yoga, Womb Yoga and Yoga for children with special needs. Prior to returning to NZ four years ago I complete my Midwifery degree, I spent 10 years intensively teaching Pregnancy and Postnatal mother & babies Yoga, in London, Brighton & Hove and assisting on teacher training courses and Yoga amps in the UK. My teaching is greatly influenced by Sitaram & Satyananda based approach, the structural yoga therapy of Mukunda Stiles and Intelligent Yoga of Peter Blackaby. I believe in the great power of yoga to nurture and heal, and help create a harmonious journey throughout all stages our busy lives; from pregnancy to birth and beyond!
