About this event

This symposium is concerned with Neurodiversity, supporting diverse learners and educators, with reflections on learning and teaching theory and practice. It seeks to raise awareness of current topical matters on Neurodiversity in the field of tertiary education.

Its focus is on building a community of practice amongst Otago Polytechnic staff and students as well as those from other New Zealand institutions with the goal of linking to a wider international community. We're excited to have Mike Styles and Jolene Stockman as our keynote speakers, followed by short presentations from OP staff and students.

For those of you joining us face-to-face, morning tea will be provided.

An online attendance option is also available. The programme will be emailed on Monday 8th November with Teams meeting links for online attendees.

If COVID-19 restrictions change to Level 3, we will move to a fully online format.

If you additionally wish to attend Mike Styles' afternoon workshop (2-4 pm), please see this link. For further info, please email Amy.Benians@op.ac.nz
