New Caledonia Film Festival 2025 - Wellington

✨ The 6th edition of the New Caledonia Film Festival is coming to New Zealand! ✨

Join us at the Light House Cinema (Cuba) on Friday, 19 September 2025 for this special event.

Enjoy an inspiring line-up of Pacific short films in French and Kanak languages (with English subtitles) - from family-friendly stories to drama, adventure, thrillers, crime investigations, myth-inspired tales, and moving comedies.

At the end of the screenings, you’ll watch exclusive interviews of the directors, sharing their insights to help you better understand their vision and work.

The evening will conclude with a complimentary drink with some nibbles at the cinema.

This event is organised by the Government of New Caledonia in partnership with the Alliance Française network.
