Description

RECITAL: School of Music Festival

We are delighted to be hosting a celebration concert for new staff member, and recently appointed concertmaster of the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra, Andrew Beer, as we officially welcome him to the School of Music.

Canadian violinist Andrew joins popular New Zealand pianist Dr Sarah Watkins, founding member of the acclaimed NZTrio, as they perform a glorious programme of Beethoven, Bartók, De Falla and Ravel.

With Andrew described as a ‘virtuoso soloist’ and Sarah a ‘national treasure’, both loved by audiences and unanimously praised by the press, this highly-anticipated recital promises to be quite the occasion!
