Gravitate to The University Club to join alumni and friends for a captivating event.

Find out how the University is helping to create a new future for New Zealand, from revolutionary materials and design, all the way to a local space industry.

Join Professor Nic Smith as he launches into a discussion about how engineering and technology are changing lives faster than ever before. He will explain why the sky isn’t the limit – but is where we should be focusing our resources.

Nic will illustrate what the Faculty of Engineering is working on to continue the country’s pioneering spirit, and why it is crucial to build an economy focused on technology.

Nic Smith is a Professor and Dean of Engineering at the University of Auckland. Before he held this role, he was the Professor of Computational Physiology at the University of Oxford and Head of Biomedical Engineering at King’s College London.

This will be a wonderful way to build your constellation of networks and catch up with fellow alumni.
