Te Hiringa Hononga Community Social Enterprise Programme is powered by the Ākina Foundation and Māori Women's Development Inc (MWDI) with support from philanthropic, iwi and public sector partners in particular our primary funder – Te Puni Kōkiri.

Join Ākina for Ngā Kakano, a four-hour hands on workshop to learn about social enterprise from a Māori perspective, build local networks, meet like-minded people and get started.

Ngā Kakano will cover:

  • What is social enterprise
  • Lessons and examples from our own communities - a kuia mā, a koro mā
  • What you need to succeed
  • Creating and measuring impact
  • How to start
  • Find out what other support is available to help you
  • Building your momentum

Kai will be provided for lunch and there is no cost for this workshop.
