Tēnā koe,

Ngā mihi o te tau hou

Ngā Taniwha, the University of Auckland Māori Alumni Network, invite you to a special event to kick off 2019!

Guest speaker, Rikki Solomon, will be joining us to share traditional knowledge of the Maramataka (Māori lunar calendar), and how it correlates to hauora. The maramataka was a way life, a way of being, and standing firm within our own environment, a kaitiaki of te tai ao.

Tuia ki te rangi

Tuia ki te whenua

Tuia ki te moana

E rongo te pō, E rongo te Ao.

Come listen to kōrero on how the maramataka Māori and the environment affect our everyday lives. Come and learn and begin your journey walking in the environment of our tūpuna.
