Ngāti Apa ki te Rā Tō Whakapapa Bus Tour
Date and time
Ngāti Apa ki te Rā Tō is hosting a heritage bus tour around locations of significance to our iwi history in the Nelson area.
About this event
Ngāti Apa ki te Rā Tō Tīpuna arrived in the north island of Aotearoa in the Kurahaupō waka between the 13th and 14th centuries.
From the mid-1500s the iwi started to migrate south and eventually settled in Te Tauihu o te Waka-a-Māui.
This bus tour will traverse the footsteps of our tīpuna, taking you to some of the areas which are significant in the history of our iwi.
