Whāia te Ara Tika – Know better, do better

This two-term course offers a structured, culturally responsive approach to professional growth. Grounded in the Niho Taniwha framework (Dr Melanie Riwai-Couch), it equips educators to align with the 2026 Teaching Standards, honour Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and improve outcomes for all learners.

You’ll gain:

  • Tools to connect research with everyday teaching and leadership
  • Deeper knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, cultural responsiveness, and curriculum expertise
  • Evidence-informed strategies for inclusive pedagogy and assessment for learning
  • Strengthened collaboration, feedback, and professional growth cycles
  • A clear, culturally grounded pathway to “know better, do better”

Who it’s for:
Educators and leaders committed to turning evidence into action, leading with integrity, and embedding cultural integrity in their practice.
