Nutrition and Eating for Better Health - Weekend Course

Over 1 weekend Sat 25 and Sunday 26 Feb ( 9.30am - 4.30pm both days) we’d like to teach you some of the basics of good health achieved through better nutrition, so that you feel empowered to make healthier food choices for you and your family.
The course will cover:
- Super Foods!
- Essential Vitamins, Mineral and Proteins
- Probiotics and Healthy Digestion
- Fats and Cholesterol
- Blood Sugar and Glucose
- Water and Detoxification
- Eating for your Body Type
- Diets including Ayurvedic, Low Carb, Healthy Fats, Mediterranean and Paleo
- Foods to assist your nervous system and help combat stress
There are lots of great handout and recipes to take home. Olivia will provide you with lots of nutritional advice, the classes are casual and easy to follow with plenty of time for questions and answers. Our aim is to provide you with the scientific facts behind food, but in a way that allows you to easily apply them to your day to day food choices.
Your tutor will be Wellpark Graduate Olivia Kennedy. Olivia runs her own her own health clinic in Milford and has a passion for promoting good gut health and the many benefits of looking after your digestive system.

If you are thinking about a career in Nutrition, then this introduction course will allow you to learn the basic principles of Nutrition, as well as find out more about Wellpark College and courses (On campus and Distance Learning available in 2017).
