Want to see what Burlesque really is? Let us show you all that burlesque can be in this battle for burlesque supremacy in this, The Royal Tease, the opening show of the 7th Annual New Zealand Burlesque Festival.

The Royal Tease, is NZ's only international burlesque competition, with performers vying for the title of NZ’s King and Queen of Burlesque. A great night of entertainment, this is a showcase of fabulous burlesque performers from around New Zealand and the world, all wanting to win the crown, title and glory of becoming reigning burlesque royalty.

Featuring performances from World Queen of Burlesque 2016, Poison Ivory from New York, as well as previous title holders, this is a night to warm up your voices and hoot for your favourites, and show you how we burlesque!

For those holding VIP tickets, not only will you have best seats in the house, you’ll also receive a complimentary beverage and nibbles and be able to attend the Royal Court, an exclusive after show party to mingle with the performers of NZBF and the newly crowned winners.

Bar opens at 7.00pm. Theatre Doors open 7.30 pm with the battle beginning at 8.00 pm.
