Boards play a vital role in leading the strategic direction and performance of all students within the school. Inclusive education means all students are participating, learning, and have a sense of belonging. To achieve this, boards need to know about the legislative requirements around inclusion, as well as how to create an inclusive culture for the school. Boards are also required to consult, plan, monitor, self-review and report on inclusion in their schools.
