Event description

Description

The New Zealand Society of Translators and Interpreters' (NZSTI) Conference 2018 will be held in Wellington on 25–27 May 2018 at Rutherford House, Victoria University of Wellington (Pipitea campus).

The theme of the conference is "Communication & Superdiversity". Various facets of communicating through translation and interpreting in today’s superdiverse environment will be explored through presentations and workshops. We are pleased to welcome noted historian Dame Claudia Orange as our keynote speaker while other presenters include leading representatives of the translating and interpreting professions as well as contributors from other fields.

The conference is open to anyone with an interest in translation, interpreting and language in general. More information about the conference can be viewed on the NZSTI Conference webpage.
