Oranga Pou Ārahi is an initiative of Te Whare Arataki which provides targeted support for pou ārahi (presiding members) of Poumarumaru (Board of Trustees).
This wānanga will cover the following:
- Provide an opportunity for pou ārahi to connect and learn from each other
- Pou ārahi role and responsibilities
- The relationship between tumuaki and pou ārahi
- How to develop board culture/tikanga
- Managing conflict
- What pou ārahi should expect in way of reporting
- Asking questions in a meeting
