Home Safety Workshop

This workshop is part of Safekids’ Home Safety Programme, aimed at delivering life-saving safety messages to families and communities. If you work with tamariki and whānau and want to promote child safety messages, please join us for a free workshop to learn more about how to make each home a safety zone.

Te Puke Room 1 | Te Puke o Tara Community Centre | 20 Newbury Street | Otara | New Zealand
1:00pm – 5:00pm.
Afternoon tea will be provided.

Digital Tools Workshop #SupportYourLocal

In this workshop, we'll share ideas on how we can collaborate using Facebook and Instagram to share safety messages and build safer communities for our tamariki. You will learn how to use these platforms to connect with your local communities to increase the engagement and reach of your business messaging.

This workshop is designed for any skill level. Community groups, health professionals, business entrepreneurs, teachers, parents, caregivers... you're all welcome!

Workshop presenter Steve Adams worked with Facebook on a nationwide BoostYourTown programme around regional New Zealand.
