Our favourite babysitter! A two-part course for teenagers

Be the best babysitter you can be, and be the babysitter whom every family wants to book again!

This is a two-part course, designed for teenagers aged 13 - 18 years:

Part One: First Aid training for babysitters including CPR (practice with manikins), choke-rescue techniques (practice with manikins), coping with emergency situations such as burns, asthma, allergic reactions, poisonings, seizures, bangs on the head, broken bones, plus when to get help: phone the parents or phone an ambulance?

Part Two: Practical advice for babysitting including child safety and accident prevention, ideas for play, information about child development, and how to communicate well with children and their parents.

Everyone on the course receives a booklet to complement the explanations and demonstrations on the course. Participants also receive a certificate.

Each part is 80 minutes with a fifteen minute break in between.

Course fees are non refundable. However, as with a cinema ticket, the ticket for a course can be transferred, so if you're unable to attend please pass your ticket on to a friend.
