Description

The Pacific Islands Public Sector Symposium in Wellington (Aug 29-31) will explore public sector capability, capacity building, policy skills, and performance management in the Pacific Islands at regional, national, and sub-national levels. This event will be part of the Pacific Islands Public Policy programme at the School of Government.

The Symposium will take place over the course of three days, with each day divided into two panels. The themes of these panels are listed below:

Thematic panels

  1. Current survey of the public sector across the Pacific Islands
  2. Central agencies coordination
  3. Performance management
  4. Capacity building
  5. The public sector and Asia-Pacific regionalism
  6. The public sector and global institutions.

This symposium will be accessible online to registrants with "General Admission - Online" registration tickets. Some sessions will be presented in Wellington and other sessions presented online.
