"In only four sessions our life was turned around. Our daughter has returned to being the lovely girl she used to be. We no longer face her disappearing into the early hours of the morning and having no idea where she is. She now respects our parenting, has stopped drinking and has even changed her friendship set. We are so grateful that you have changed our lives".

Manella and Dean

We are living in the midst of a Mental Health crisis. Sadly your teenagers are like sponges, absorbing stress, anxiety and overwhelm from social media, comparison, information overload, environmental disasters and the effects of an ongoing global pandemic. As parents you are stretched in all directions and parenting has now become a whole lot harder.

In a rapidly changing and uncertain world, ImpACT-Mental Health believes it is more important than ever for your teen to learn RESILIENCE.

Resilience is an essential ingredient for your teen to be able to effectively manage stress in life, through learning adaptability, perseverance, and endurance. Being resilient doesn't mean that they won't experience emotional upheaval, adversity or conflict - after all pain and suffering are a natural part of life. What it does mean is they will be able to survive with a healthy, positive ‘can do’ mindset and a voice in their head that says:

“I’ve got this”

“I can find a way”

“I’ve done it before and I’ll do it again”

“Failure is only a stepping stone to success”.

ImpACT-Mental Health aims to deliver resilience techniques and lifelong skills that develop mental toughness, so your teen can learn to push through the rough times and begin to thrive again.

REAL, RAW and VULNERABLE - This is a workshop you won’t want to miss!

You will be moved to tears, laugh on the edge of your seats, feel understood and be challenged to create change.

What you will take away from this talk:

  1. Inspiration and hope, as well as the knowledge that you can make big changes from small and consistent action.
  2. Simple tools and techniques that you can easily implement including; communication skills, boundary setting, dealing with conflict, emotional regulation, and connecting through compassion and love - often the smallest tweaks make the biggest impact!
  3. Proven strategies and skills to encourage your teenager to problem solve, accept and withstand adversity, bounce back and grow despite the downturns.
