Seminar held online via Zoom Wed 14 July 12.30pm. Recording is available if you can't attend live.
Performance Dietitian Conrad Goodhew has been playing sport since the age of 4. He has participated in everything from rugby and cricket to squash and golf – all at provincial and international representative level. He understands the pressures that sportsmen and women go through, both physiological and psychological.
Over the past few years he has worked with young rugby players, track and field athletes, endurance athletes and ultra runners but not all his clients are performance athletes. He also works with weekend warriors and the general public - anyone who is trying to be the best version of themselves. He has worked with clinical issues from T1DM, GI issues, intolerance, weight loss/gain, food-related anxiety and depression.
In this interactive seminar Conrad explains all about:
- Hydration - how to test and how much (sweat testing etc)
- Eating before and after training - when and what to eat
- Eating before and during competition
