Workshop on Performance Poetry.
This will be a 90-minute spoken word poetry workshop led by members of the South Auckland Poets Collective, giving you a space to connect with others, reflect on your journey and express who you are. The workshop will be followed by a 30 minute open mic. Everybody is welcome, both seasoned poets or if it is the first time you are flexing your creative skills in this way.
Want to tell the world, but you are too shy? The Action Education Team are dedicated to performance poetry, and bringing out your voice.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Tickets are e-mailed by Eventbrite, our ticketing agent. You can either display the ticket on your phone, or bring a printed copy.
What public transport is there?
From Otahuhu Train Station, catch the route 32 bus heading towards Mangere Town Centre.
What car parking is there?
Ample free parking is available at the venues and nearby streets.
