PGSA Meditation Session
Date and time
PGSA Meditation Session for beginners focusing on postgraduate students' wellbeing. (free food provided!)
About this event
In celebration of the Wiki Whai Hauora week, PGSA has teamed up with the Be Well Team and the UoA Recreation Centre to provide you with a fantastic event focusing on postgraduate students' wellbeing!
The PGSA Meditation Session is designed to allow you to pause for a moment together with other postgraduates and focus on your wellbeing, which sometimes gets neglected alongside studies and other commitments.
We will start with a Yoga & Yoga Nidra session for beginners, combining a relaxing yoga style with meditation. Afterwards, we will kick off a small discussion about wellbeing in connection with postgraduate studies. You will be able to learn about opportunities that help you improve your wellbeing, connect with like-minded peers and enjoy some free refreshing and healthy snacks.
All you need to bring is: a large towel, a drink bottle, a warm top.
Yoga mats will be provided. However, you are also welcome to bring your own one.
See you on Tuesday, 17th May, for a wholesome event at the Mind & Body Space in the Recreation Centre, 70 Stanley Street!
Feel free to invite your peers to come along too!
