So what is the Writing Retreat??

The Writing Retreat is a place for you to come and sit with fellow postgrads (sometimes in silence, sometimes with some quiet banter) and nut out a few hard spots of your research. Sometimes you need to talk something out until you understand what you are trying to say, sometimes you just need to stick some headphones in, block out the world, and write - but with the accountability of others around you. Sometimes you just need some food that's free. Well that's what we are here for. For every second Monday of the month, the PGSA is hosting a food and drink evening for YOU to knuckle down and write. We are working on getting speakers in every month to talk about something themed that may help you out and then they will be free afterwards if you have questions. But asides from that, you are free to work on your own stuff and we will provide the fuel.

If you have any more questions, feel free to flick the PGSA a message via facebook or message events@pgsa.org.nz

See you there!
