Event description
A virtual workshop with access to a HUGE folder of resources to get you set up and running in your classroom tomorrow!

About this event

Play, Make, Create - an innovative learning concept to lift literacy and oral language while building life long skills and postive attitudes. This concept is hooked on using picturebooks as an ignitor and a gateway for learning - go deeper, grow passionate readers and writers.

Are you an advocate for or interested in play based learning?

Are you passionate about the maker movement or at least intrigued by it?

Are you using mobile technologies in your space?

Well, what happens when play based learning, hands on making and mobile technology are infused, while having rich literacy at its core? You have engaged and motivated learners who thrive! Attend this workshop if you want to nurture student led, hands on learning that develops oral language, deep thinking and self efficacy. Be prepared to have fun and be armed with loads of inspiration and to gain access to a folder of resources exclusively available to those that attend (over 300 Maker Cards, student templates and so much more). There is also a Play, Make, Create Facebook Group to explore, share, ask questions and strengthen understandings moving forward.

PLEASE NOTE: This is the only virtual workshop in Term 3.
