About this event

Join arts professionals Deborah Crowe & Emil McAvoy for a lively, intensive Zoom workshop on professional practice.

This 3 hour session will cover the fundamentals of career positioning, industry navigation, strategic thinking, concept development, research, proposals, portfolios, exhibitions, funding, sales, documentation, publishing, media engagement, networking, key communications and writing on art – and your individual questions on these areas.

The workshop balances presentations from your hosts, an open forum for questions and discussion, and space to share and workshop strategies with your hosts and other participants.

Designed for artists who wish to extend their professional practice skills and accelerate their careers, this workshop covers fundamental principles and practices alongside scalable strategies to meet the needs of more experienced practitioners.

Bring a pen and paper. There will be short meal/rest breaks.

Limited to a maximum of 20 participants.

Both are artists with high achieving track records, educators with awarded research practices, and independent art services providers. Between them they have worked with over 200 artists.
