Thursday morning beginners wheel class for 5 weeks with Kim Possible @earthernceramicsaotearoa

About this event

2kg clay, firing costs, slips and glazes are included.

Students will learn to prepare and center clay, throw and trim a tumbler, small bowl or side plate using the potters wheel and have an introduction to decorative surface design based on the sgrafitto technique. Pieces will be simply glazed and available to collect 2 weeks after class finish date. Classes run for 5 weeks, Thursday mornings 10am to 12 mid day. Please bring an apron, a towel, your creative spirit and a willingness to get a little bit dirty.

Please note that under Covid level 2 our club policy requires you to wear a face mask during the class.

Cancellation policy:

3 + weeks prior to the start of term students will get a $125 refund

1 + week prior to the start of term students will get a $62.50 refund

No refunds shall be given if students cancel after less than one week prior to the term starting, or after the term has started.
