Poutama Whenua Ora: AgriScience Industry Big Day Out, Ōtautahi

The Tertiary Education Commission and Whenua Kura invite your school to RSVP now for the Poutama Whenua AgriScience Industry Big Day Out – Ōtautahi, in association with Fonterra.

The event is designed to support rangatahi to have a positive hands on experience in the growing Primary Industry sector, and connect with employers and educators to:

• Gain an insight into the real world of work, and the wide range of pathways within the primary industry sector
• Get a taste of work in action and an opportunity to hear directly from employees about their own career journey
• Hear directly from employers about the skills and qualifications they are looking for
• Gather information to make informed career and subject choices.

The event will begin at Nga Hau e Wha Marae, 250 Pages Road, Aranui, Christchurch, 8062. Participants will travel by bus to Fonterra, Darfield, before returning to Nga Hau e Wha Marae, at the end of the event.

We look forward to seeing you and your students there. Up to 12 Year 10-13 students may attend per school.
