Event description
Learn to instantly feel strong, stable and centred in yourself, using the principles of Aikido, one of the most sophisticated martial arts!

About this Event

Power Woman is for the woman who wants to feel strong, stable and centred in herself. Using gentle, achievable and fun exercises derived from Aikido, you will discover a part of yourself that you might never have known!

Learn how to manage stress - instantly - and deal with incoming conflict, not by resisting or fighting, but by blending with and using your "attacker's" energy. Over time, you will be able to manage relationships, transactions, and conflicts with poise and calmness.

You will be totally surprised by how quickly you can achieve a new awareness of your inner strength and resilience.

In this exciting 3-hour workshop you will:

  • Learn about your body
  • Discover your energy
  • Explore conflict safely
  • Harmonise with nature
  • Face your inner self
  • Practise peace

You will learn how to centre yourself, extend your energy around you, and deal with incoming energy (i.e. other people!). You will also learn how to manage stress and build resilience over time, with simple stretches, breathing and meditation practice.

You do not need to be fit to do the exercises.

In this first-of-its-kind workshop, you will be able to explore yourself in a safe, relaxing and comfortable atmosphere.

We normally respond to conflict in habitual ways: Fight, Flight or Freeze.

There is now a fourth way: harmonising and blending. You will learn how conflict can be genuinely defused, and can even lead to positive growth. This opens up new ways of relating, and of leadership.

Aikido is recognised as the most sophisticated martial art because it is actually an Art of Peace. In Aikido you don't offer resistance, so the attacker does not feel resistance. This is a powerful principle when applied correctly. You will learn these principles that will boost your self-confidence and self-esteem - without having to step on a mat or practise for years!

If you have felt insecure about your self-esteem and confidence, step out into your full womanhood right now!

Power Woman is for every woman who wants to express herself and take her rightful space in the world.

Please feel free to call if you need further information: 021 123 5023

The workshop will be held at the delightful Rose Centre in Belmont. Large carpark, bright pleasant rooms spilling out into a cosy garden, and plenty of refreshments through the event.

After the workshop you will have the option to receive one-on-one coaching to integrate the learning for your specific circumstances, challenges and goals. You will also have the option to attend regular MindBody Aikido classes in Glenfield.
