What to do with the late summer flurry of tomatoes and courgettes? With the bounty of ripe apples and pears that autumn blesses us with?
Join Marion Perkins and others at Staveley Camp, to learn how to preserve those precious foods for the winter, or for gifts.
Bring your own fruits, vegetables and preserving jars if you have them. We will have spare jars to share, as well as a great communal cooking and preparing space. This job is so much more fun when working together!
If you don't have anything to preserve you are still most welcome to come along to get ideas, recipes and tips for doing it yourself later.
This is a FREE event, but limited to 15 tickets, so be in quick!
