PRIVATE EVENT Wgtn Explorers Archaeological Walk through Wellington - 20th Oct 10am-11.30am

THIS IS A PRIVATE EVENT FOR WELLINGTON EXPLORERS MEMBERS ONLY.

We are super excited to have secured another event with the amazing Archaeologist Mary O'Keeffe of Heritage Solutions.

Mary has run a number of archaeological digs for us, which have been a huge success and thoroughly enjoyed by our Explorer families (we have some more in the pipeline - details to come!). For this event Mary is going to take us on a tour of Wellington city to explore the archaeological history that is right under our feet. A copy of this event being run for Hertigage Week quickly sold out, so we are super lucky to have our very own event, just for our Explorer families to attend. Mary will also be able to tag the information and accomodate our Explorers and the questions they may have. This will be a superb event, as Mary has an astounding archaeological knowledge and from our previous talks and events with Mary, she has very quickly captured the attention our of Explorers, so I am guessing this will likely be the same with this event.

This event is for our Explorers aged 7 years and over. We will meet outside Te Papa at 10am and will head off for our tour, talk, explore which will take around 90 minutes and will end up on the waterfront, just south of the railway station.

This event will be capped at 25 participants. Please ensure that you register your attendance at the link attached. If you book and then cannot attend please let our Secretary (Elizabeth McKee) know immediately so that your tickets can be cancelled and space made available for other Explorer families.
