Property Investing: Past, Present, & Future
Event Information
About this Event
This keynote session connects the past, present and future leadership of the Auckland Property Investors' Association Incorporated to help investors develop a deeper understanding of property investment in terms of the opportunities, hurdles and the best way forward.
Property investing is in a constant state of flux. Its evolving relationships with social norms, government regulations and the economics of the time will always shift the parameters within which investors define success.
This session features three investors from the APIA leadership team: past president Andrew Bruce, current president Kristin Sutherland and new board member Monique Oosterbaan. Though each has a vastly different market experience from one another, all three shares the same goal of creating an environment for everyday property investors to thrive.
Through conversation and storytelling, we will explore the past, set the scene for today's issues and examine viable ways forward for property investors. We will discuss enduring and of-the-moment challenges and opportunities of property investment, incorporate different perspectives, share practical solutions and provide the energy and inspiration that will see you through the next 10 years of property investing.
Specifically, each speaker will share their respective stories of how they became investors, their biggest challenge + accomplishment and their outlook of the sector. As a group, they will also discuss the role they see the APIA plays in the market and our national dialogue.
