About

"The flame of love, when it is most vehement, is the quietest.”

- St John of the Cross

Living with a prophetic gift is no small thing. It’s a way of being—of seeing and feeling the world in a heightened, often overwhelming way. The weight of discernment, the tension of sensing what others don’t, the disorientation at times of what we’re experience and the loneliness that can come from being misunderstood—it all weaves together into a unique, beautiful, and sometimes heavy calling.

How do we carry this gift well? How do we listen deeply, speak wisely, and remain tender rather than burnt out? How do we walk in love when others don’t always see what we do? This course is an invitation into those questions.

We’ll explore the prophetic life as more than a skill but a rhythm, a way of abiding in God’s presence. We’ll wrestle with everything from what prophecy is, receiving and sharing revelation, discerning God’s voice with clarity, and navigating the challenge of speaking truth in a world that often resists it. It will offer a frame for a new way of living in and expressing the prophetic and how we can reintegrate this incredible gift and role in the church.

We’ll also root ourselves in the wisdom of the desert fathers, the mystics, and the ancient prophets—learning how to burn with the quiet fire God’s love, not just with knowledge.

Together, we’ll walk through:

  • The role of prophecy in this present moment
  • Understanding our unique prophetic wiring
  • How to receive, process, and share revelation
  • Prophetic wisdom—learning when, how, and why to speak
  • The weight of prophetic sensitivity and how to carry it well
  • Dreams, visions, and discernment
  • Maturing into healthy, grounded prophetic people

This is about more than gifting—it’s about formation. My hope is that by the end, we’ll not just prophesy, but embody love, becoming a people who bear God’s presence with both fire and gentleness.

Frequently asked questions

Will classes be record if I miss one?

Yes. All classes will be recorded and uploaded to a dropbox folder for later access.

Who is this course for?

This course is for people who already know they're prophetic and have a basic sense of what that means for them. Almost no-one feels like they're prophetic 'enough' so don't worry if much of it's new. The course is designed to help you make sense of your experiences and grow in them.

What is the session format

Each session will include led prayer, teaching for about 30-40 minutes and class discussion. It's important that you're willing to ask questions and engage in the material for your own growth. Class sizes are 30 or less.

Will we do different prophetic practices in class?

No. This course is largely teaching-centric. It's designed to help you make sense of your gift, how it affects your being and relationships and to offer a new frame for the prophetic in our time and place. So we won't be doing what's more classically called 'activations'.
