Join Rainbow Auckland for our September networking event featuring an inspiring Arts Industry Panel discussion that celebrates creativity, queerness, and community.

Enjoy complimentary drinks and platters as you connect with creatives, industry professionals, and members of the rainbow community.

Panel Members

  • Shannon Novak – Internationally recognised artist and founder of the Safe Space Alliance.
  • Sam Brooks – Award-winning playwright, dramatist, and arts journalist.
  • Hāmiora Bailey (Ngāti Porou Ki Harataunga, Ngāti Huarere) – Executive Director of Auckland Pride and curator of intersectional queer arts experiences.
  • Louie Bretaña – Acclaimed artist exploring decolonisation through painting, sculpture, and performance.

Panel discussion: 6:30pm – 7:30pm

Since 1984, Rainbow Auckland has been New Zealand’s largest LGBTTQIA+ membership association providing support and advocacy on human rights issues, and safe, inclusive business networking opportunities for the rainbow community. Membership is open to business organisations, community groups, business owners and executives, professionals, academics, diplomats, politicians, media, artists and entertainers, and non-LGBTTQIA+ members who actively support the Rainbow business community. Membership includes free entry to regular mixer events, social and professional networking, and promoting LGBTTQIA+ projects and activities.
