Raukatauri Music Therapy Gibbs Farm Fundraiser
Event Information
About this event
Set on the edge of the Kaipara Harbour, Gibbs Farm is home to an internationally renowned sculpture collection, many of which are site-specific commissions. They include works by Anish Kapoor, Andy Goldsworthy, Maya Lin and Richard Serra ... to name but a few! Alongside the sculptures there are animals including zebra, buffalo and giraffe making Gibbs Farm a fun and fabulous day out for all, young and old! And the good news is, we are definitely going ahead with the event even in Red!
The Raukatauri Music Therapy Trust, operators of New Zealand's only music therapy centres, receives no direct Government funding and need to raise over $1.5 million this year to continue to offer our services to children and adults with disabilities across the upper North Island. By joining us for this wonderful day out you can Change Lives through Music!
To add to your experience there is the option to purchase a packed lunch from Eat My Lunch who, for each lunch bought, will provide a second lunch to a Kiwi kid in need. The Raukatauri team will pick up your lunch on the morning and bring it to Gibbs Farm - you will just need to collect it from one of our friendly staff members when you arrive at the sculpture park.
