Tammy McCann and Carolyn Aukafolau are experienced coaches, facilitators, and educators who create safe, engaging spaces for families to reconnect and grow.
Tammy and Carolyn are the hosts of the This Might Get Awkward podcast — a warm, honest, and often hilarious show where they navigate real parent-teen conversations by answering questions submitted by parents and teens. With empathy, humour, and plenty of relatable moments, they explore the messy-but-meaningful path to stronger connection, one awkward question at a time.
Tammy is the founder of Ray of Light Coaching, where she helps people step into their truth, speak up with confidence, and create lives filled with meaning and possibility. With a background in corporate training, experiential learning, and transformational coaching, Tammy is known for her deep listening, creative visioning, and ability to awaken love and courage in others.
Carolyn is the founder of The Parent Oasis, where she supports parents to care for their wellbeing and strengthen their family relationships with greater calm and clarity. With a background in education, leadership, and coaching, Carolyn is known for her warm presence, practical tools, and ability to guide honest conversations that bring families closer together.
Together, Tammy and Carolyn combine global coaching credentials (ICF and CPCC), rich facilitation experience, and a shared passion for honest, human connection — making their workshops real, supportive, and transformative.
