An online session for University of Auckland staff and students introducing REDCap.

REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture) is an internationally established web-based application used for creating and managing research databases and/or participant surveys. REDCap is a valuable tool to help researchers collect and manage sensitive research data, including personally identifiable data.

Participants will gain an understanding of:

  • How to access REDCap,
  • What REDCap is capable of,
  • Types of projects that REDCap supports,
  • Applicability of REDCap to their research, and
  • Resources and support available to staff and students at the University.
