Reducing Valuation Risk - The RICS Red Book

Class 1 - Terms of engagement: Thurs 20 July 2017

Class 2 - Basis of value: Tues 25 July 2017

Class 3 - Inspections & Reports: Mon 31 July 2017

The RICS Red Book, incorporating International Valuation Standards, is accepted and required by many lenders, property owners and governments throughout Australia and globally.

The Red Book is a compulsory standard for RICS Registered Valuers – it sets a global benchmark, which is audited by RICS under a robust regulatory regime.

The standards help valuers and their clients to reduce risk, potential areas of conflict and improve upon report clarity.

These sessions are aimed as an introduction to the Red Book for recently qualified valuers or those undertaking their professional assessment. They will be equally valuable to new RICS Registered Valuers looking to ensure compliance and API/PINZ Members unfamiliar with the Red Book. Bank, insurance and property fund risk managers will also find them helpful.

All sessions run from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM (Sydney time). The sessions are run live but are recorded and can be viewed later.

Total for all three sessions:

RICS Members/RICS Registered Valuers/API Members - $150 plus GST and Booking Fee
