Event description

Description

Few theological topics are as puzzling, or maybe even as divisive, as the Holy Spirit. But the Spirit is not a topic; he's a person. So who is he? What does he do? Why do so many ministries take such a different view on the person and work of the Spirit? What will it look like for the Spirit to be genuinely at work on our campus, in our churches, and in our lives?

Join us for Relay, Christian Union's annual leadership training weekend,* as we consider these questions and a host of other big topics through short talks, discussion and interactive workshops.

- Friday 15th Sept 6pm - Sunday 17th Sept 12.30pm
- Held on campus at UC (exact venue TBA)
- $20 (covers workshop materials, dinner on Friday and Saturday, suppers, morning teas, and breakfast on Sunday). Regisration fee is not paid on Eventbrite, but can be paid on the weekend or in advance directly to Christian Union.

Please note this is a stay-at-home weekend with no accommodation included in your registration fee.

* The 'leadership' part of the weekend isn't meant to be exclusive. Anyone who's interested in looking at the Bible and thinking about this topic is very welcome. While the weekend will have a slight extra focus on Christian leadership, that will only be a small part of the program. Anyone is welcome - and let's face it, if you're not already a leader in some way you probably will be in the future.
