Upgrades are an add on to your ticket and must be purchased with the same email address and name as your GA ticket. You must have a 2 Day GA Festival Pass or Single Day GA Pass to Rhythm & Alps in order to add an upgrade.
NONE OF THE UPGRADE TICKETS ALONE WILL GAIN YOU ACCESS TO THE FESTIVAL.
You must have a 2 Day GA Festival Pass, 2 Day GA + Camping or Single Day GA Pass to be allowed into the festival.

What's the difference between Tier 1, Tier 2 tickets, etc?
Rhythm & Alps employs a tiered ticketing system that rewards those who buy their tickets early with discounts. Each tier has a set allocation of tickets, and once that allocation is exhausted, it moves to the next tier. The earlier you buy your ticket, the more you save.
Can I buy a single day pass?
Yes! Single day passes will be available for purchase later in the year.

How can I ensure I get to camp with my friends?
We operate our campsite on a first-in-first-serve basis, so make sure that when you check in at the festival, that you round up your mates to ensure you can all claim a space together.
Is there Premium Camping this year?
We have a limited number of onsite Glamping and Teepee Packages available.
What does a VIP pass get me?
Festival fans who have a thirst for something more, something premium, can expect just that with a VIP pass. Enjoy two full days at the festival in luxury style. Here’s a taste of what to expect this year:*

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to attend?
Rhythm & Alps is strictly R18. By law we will only accept the following forms of ID:
- A valid and current NZ photo driver’s license
- A valid and current HANZ 18+ card
- A valid and current NZ or overseas passport
What are my transport / parking options?
Bus passes will be available for purchase at a later date from our partners Yello! There is also plenty of parking at the festival site.
Is there anything I can’t bring to the event?
Rhythm & Alps is a licensed event. Therefore, no alcohol is allowed to be brought onto site or into the campground. There will be serviced bars located around the campsite and festival site. Any alcohol that is found during the search of your vehicle on entry must be confiscated.
Is my ticket transferrable?
You will be able to change your name on the ticket to someone else should you choose to sell it. Please be aware that there will be a name change fee. Name changes will be available later in the year.
When will the lineup be released?
Rhythm & Alps traditionally releases its lineup in August, with a second announcement in October.
