Details:

Presenter:  Sija Robertson Stone, Lawyer, Manawatu Community Law Centre

Dealing with bullying and harassment can be challenging. The latest types of bullying such as online bullying (cyber-bullying) can be even more difficult for people to deal with. The outcomes if things go wrong can be very tragic.

This seminar will provide an overview of ways to deal with cyber-bullying/harmful digital communications, as well as general harassment.

What We'll Be Doing

Rights & Rules are short one hour seminars on everyday legal topics. The format of the seminar is dependent the speaker.  Most seminars are relatively informal and allow for attendee questions.

Who Is It For

Rights & Rules seminars are aimed at community and social service workers, but open to anyone.   The aim is to inform these workers to better assist their clients. Registration is appreciated.

What to Bring

Pen and paper is recommended.

You are welcome to bring your lunch.   Tea and coffee are provided.

This training is supported  by  Palmerston North City Council
